Macroporous chloromethyl resin is receiving considerable interest as supports in organic synthesis as reagents and catalysts [1-3]. The washing efficiencies of a chromophore and the reaction rates of a classical Merrifield resin [4]. Macroporous chloromethyl resin as a base matrix for solid phase scavengers is superior to the more traditional Merrifield resins when non-swelling solvents like acetonitrile are used.
